How does a vegetable share work?
A share is a portion of the weekly vegetable harvest. One
share of vegetables is intended to average 7 lbs of
vegetable plus greens. The summer and winter season are
each 18 weeks. We plan to begin summer shares in June and
the winter shares in October. Members near each pickup
location form their own driving co‐op to pick up their
produce.
In addition to vegetables, we offer
freshly baked bread, a cow share program, mushrooms, raw
cheese and periodically meat from our cows or steers. Our
newsletter will keep you
updated on the season and give you recipe ideas

Corn: Until we know for sure
that GMO Roundup-Ready corn and other GMO types are not
grown in our area, we will not risk growing sweet corn
because of the chance of cross pollution. Join us and the

moratorium on all genetically engineered foods and
crops. www.organicconsumers.org
